Below you are given some basic AutoCAD commands.

L

This command is used to draw lines in drawing.

C

This command is used to create a circle in AutoCAD.

This command is used to draw a polyline in a drawing.

REC

It is used to create rectangle in AutoCAD.

POL

It is used to make polygon, at least 3 sides and maximum 1024 sides.

ARC

This command is used to create an arc in AutoCAD.

ELLIPSE

It is used to make ELLIPSE.

REG

This command is used to create region geometry in autocad.

This command is used to copy objects in AutoCAD.

ARRAY

You can make rectangular or path array using it.

This command is used to trim geometry.

By using this command, you can open the window of options in which most of the settings of AutoCAD are there.

This command is used to change the object's scale.

It is used to create a block.

This command is used to insert a block in AutoCAD.

This command is used to open a text style window, you can control the properties of the text style through the text style window.

This command is used to explode objects such as making polygon a simple line.

It is used to insert rounded corners into the sharp edges of geometry. These round corners are also called fillets.

It is used to insert slant (oblique) edges into sharp corners. These slant edges are also called chamfers.

Here you have been given some basic keyboard shortcuts, so that you can perform operations in AutoCAD very quickly and easily. Here I have inserted those keyboard shortcuts which are used very often.

Ctrl + N

This shortcut is used to open a new drawing tab in AutoCAD.

Ctrl + S

This shortcut is used to save the drawing file.

Ctrl + Shift + S

This shortcut is used to save the drawing as a new file. That is, this shortcut is used for save as.

Ctrl + 0

This shortcut is used to clear the screen and to hide plattets and tabs.

Ctrl + 2

This shortcut is used to open the design center palette. Which contains many abstract AutoCAD blocks, we can use these blocks directly in the drawing.

Ctrl + 9

This shortcut is used to toggle the visibility of the command line. If for some reason the command line is hidden from the drawing area, then you can bring it back using this shortcut.

Ctrl + C

By using this shortcut, you can copy objects from the drawing area.

Ctrl + V

You can paste the copied objects using this shortcut.

Ctrl + Shift + V

You can use this shortcut to paste the copied objects as a block.

Ctrl + Z

This shortcut is used to undo the last action in the drawing.

Ctrl + Y

This shortcut is used to redo the last undo action.

Ctrl + tab

You can use this shortcut to go to all the open drawing tabs.

General autocad commands

On this we will read about some common autocad commands which are used to improve drawing: -

BCOUNT

This command is very useful for counting the number of blocks.

TXTEXP

By this command you can convert single line and multiline text into geometrics.

XLINE (XL)

By this command we can draw infinite lines.

POINT (PO)

By drawing this command, a single point geometry can be created in the drawing.

REVCLOUD

With this command, we can create revision cloud geometry using freehand sketching.

SKETCH

You can make freehand sketch using this command.

MULTIPLE

If you want to repeat any command, use MULTIPLE command and press ESC key to cancel repetition.

NCOPY

You can copy nested objects from within block or Xref using this autocad commands.

You can check the spelling of selected text using this command. And can correct its spelling.

ARCTEXT

Using this command, we can write arc aligned text in autocad.

OOPS

Through this, you can store the last deleted object in the drawing again.

DIVIDE

Through this, you can divide 2D geometry into many equal parts.

RENAME

Objects are renamed by this.

BREAK

2D geometrics can be broken into one or two points using this command.

By this, the distance between two points is found in the drawing.

COPYBASE

Through this, you can copy any objects using base point.

BASE

By using this command, you can change the base point without changing its origin.

DWGPREFIX

If your drawing is opened in autocad and you do not know in which location it is saved, then you can find out by typing the command DWGPREFIX.

You can make multiline geometry using it.

SAVEALL

By using this command, you can save all open drawings.

Status Bar Toggle in English

Status Bar is a very important feature of the AutoCAD user interface and its tools are used frequently. You can easily access the status bar icons by keyboard shortcuts, commands. Here I have given the list of major status bar: -

This status bar tool toggle the visibility of the background grid.

This toggle snap mode. AutoCAD cursor when snap mode is active

What is there can go to specific points.

From this we can turn on / off toggles ortho mode. When ortho mode is on, we can make only one line from horizontal line or vertical line.

F10

With this we can toggles polar tracking on / off.

F11

Through this you can turn on / off object snap tracking. Using this you can track the snap points of geometrics.

Through this you can activate or deactivate the object snap.

GRAPHICSCONFIG

You can open the graphics configuration window using this status bar. With graphics configuration we can change the setting of display and graphics properties in autocad.
